The difference is that I’ve actually had legitimate hope for this team for the first time since I was in middle school. Instead of building on a 12 win season, that ended in disaster, this team goes ahead and ****s the season. 1 first down, but 3 holding penalties and a pick 6 back
The last pick DC was pressured from the left. He tried to make a play. Wish I could say it was from an unpicked up blitz but it was from a lineman. I guess it shows Donald Penn’s worth. The errant throws is a mix of him doing too much and everyone not being on the same page. Really think the pressure of This season had him in his own head. Followed by another injury early on. Just play football and don’t over think it. I still got DC’s back. Although a friend told me to start Conor Cook...a qb with “playoff experience.” Lmao.
Arians would be the best offensive mind Carr has worked with but I would assume he goes back to Indy or retires.
I still believe in Derek. When you have an OC that can’t effectively teach his system and get players on the same page there’s no hope.
I'm still on board with DC too. Unfortunately, I think the defensive performance yesterday may have helped JDR more than anything. After this Sunday, we'd have lost 4 in a row. I'm pretty sure JDR is staying
if we can hit on a OC we might be alright tbh. not so sure a HC whos future is uncertain can find one tho.
Pagano has definitely saved Jack we just need to find an OC to help Carr. Bend the knee to Hue, Mark and Reggie.
It sucks but the defense under Pagano has played well enough to justify another season. JDR & Pagano both gunna be here next season. It's gunna be tough to find an OC willing to work under Jack, given his inclination to throw coaches under the bus and fire em. Hopefully the offensive talent is attractive to potential candidates. Profile on John DeFilippo: https://t.co/O36s9ypisp Used to be a QB coach for DC a couple of years ago in Oakland so there's familiarity. Next Shanahan/McVay is a huge stretch tho.
So what needs to happen in order for us to get into the top 10 draft picks? This like the opposite of playoff scenarios
DC is still my QB, but he’s been EXTREMELY disappointing this season. Yes, you can blame coaching, or lack there of, but he’s made a lot of boneheaded decisions that have cost us games. Coaching has nothing to do with his lack of mobility. There have been many situations where he could’ve made plays by getting out of the pocket. Instead, he takes a sack or grounds it. At least he made a couple attempts, last night, to use his legs. Took him long enough.
I'm pretty sure you can't block a coordinator from interviewing for a head coach job. You can block lateral coaching moves tho.
I’m not sure about that one. I think if a staff member is under contract, they can deny interviews, unless said member just quits. However, no one really quits in the NFL.
Any injury update on Crabtree? Dude had zero catches and 2 targets. He wasn't even in the lineup most of the game. Also, Nick Foles knew better
yeah they can block anything other than a HC interview, didn't know you were talking about flip for HC.
I want to say after the Saints game last year where he dove and getting hurt against the Colts the coaching staff may have started telling him to take a sack or ground the ball. Only reason I say this, is because I remember commentators and analysts discussing those plays last year and the risks associated with them. To me he needs to get that gun slinger attitude back. You have to be part A-hole to be a great QB in the NFL. I admire him trying to be correct and being proper. But if he really idolized Favre...Then embrace the F-it. I'd rather have him throw ints deep down field than take some dumb 2 yard dump off on 3rd and long.
