The pressure on defense was nice and when Autry is clicking that opens up time for Mack and Irvin to cook. Irvin was smashing.
I would like to see more Jalen too. I just don't know what the calls are against a team like Denver and how the guys respond to opposing defenses on the ground repeatedly. When is Marshawn due or not due? How do we use DeAndre? Where can Jalen or Olawale maximize our changes out of the backfield? It will be interesting to see how players and the team respond this late in the season and against the odds in the division. We need to play complete football and not blow opportunities to maintain possession.
This offense just isn't dialed all the way to the strengths of the players (yet).
Do we have too many players/weapons and a playbook that blankets their strengths?
People keep asking about Carr's injury and his ability to throw the ball.
Is it really THAT much of a factor or is this the Carr we know already?
It's great to see Coop and Crabtree go away and see the other guys pick up where they started.
I would LOVE to see more Lee Smith in the game.
I just feel like Carr plays better with him there I don't know what it is, but he just helps us in little ways that get overlooked.
