I think I'd honestly be done with the NFL man.

The greed and smug arrogance on display by the league has been almost intolerable for a while but if they relocated another franchise to Oakland it would probably be the last straw for me.

No other team is moving here. Oakland has no appetite for paying for sports stadia and that's the bare minimum that the NFL requires to be considered as a location.

Don't think LA paid for the Rams or Chargers though. Not saying any owner would pay to play in Oakland but I wouldn't go against that thought of the NFL wanting a team closer to SF than the damn Niners.

I wouldn't be surprised if behind closed doors owners are laughing at Mark for leaving this market. Sure he's getting his stadium for like 1/4 of the price but the long money is here in the Bay and MD is too stupid and short sighted to realize that.

Yea all it takes is a billionaire to say, look this is play money and I'm willing to do what Mark couldn't.

Of course the league would rather skull **** some poor municipality into paying for a stadium, but the reality is Oakland is a top 5 - 6 market in the country by any metric based on it's location and the strength of the surrounding metro area.

If Shahid Khan or anyone else thinks, hey I can move on up here, the league isn't going to say no sir, you can not spend your own money on a stadium.

Obviously this is all speculation based on a what some Coliseum JPA authority ******* said, but Oakland is going to be relocation bait for the next quarter century. Let's not put any type of ******* past the NFL right now.

Feel like I hate everyone of minor to significant influence in this country right now. :smh:

Yeah, that coliseum authority director sounds like he's full of **** or one of them gullible dumb ****s who believes everything an NFL owner says.

Regardless, even though it will always be a slight possibility that **** sounds stupid AF to bring another team into Oakland.

Marshawn has had some cool cleats this season, low key was upset when he gave his Mexico cleats to a Denver fan but it was a kid so I guess it's cool

I haven't been an NFL fan for years but this fact right here is what makes the move so ridiculous. I don't have a lot of experience with life in the East Bay outside of Fremont, but now I take BART to work every day, and the massive amount of well off looking professionals that get on between Warm Springs and West Oakland station would have been impossible to imagine 15-20 years ago. Mark Davis and the NFL must have no idea what the population is like around Oakland in 2017 if they think that they'll make more money off local Vegas residents and tourists looking for a way to kill time during the day.

They could've easily built a new luxury stadium here in the East Bay and started charging premium prices, and yeah while the crowd would get more boring and corporate like the Warriors (and 49ers for their first year ) they wouldn't be hurting financially at all if they put out a halfway decent product.
