Physically, MEJ is good to go. But if he is hit in a certain way out there, I was told he could be paralyzed or worse. So a lot of this is mental at this point. He will likely be out for the year.

That sucks to hear. Didn't think he'd be back because they kept pushing his date back. Hopefully he'll be ready for next year. It just sucks cuz he could've made a huge impact down the stretch.

Need Roger to hurry up with this Aldon news. Calhoun is down and Cowser doesn't bring much as a 3rd pass rusher rn.

Not doubting you, but do you got a source? I've been trying to find something on him and I can't find any info.

957 bringing up a point...our secondary is the weakest position and it gets weaker without Amerson & DJ.

Then they go on to say what would it take to bring back Chuck?!

 Make it happen Reggie!

If that's true about Rio then he has to have retirement on his mind.

But just to clarify, he's physically fine but if he's hit that way again he'll be paralyzed or worse? That makes it sound like he's not physically okay, or else that potential injury is true of every player.

Just something I was thinking about: The Raiders are truly susceptible to the deep ball. Cam exploited that yesterday, Brees exploited that week 1. Hell, even Trevor Siemian even connected on a deep pass when they played us.

Getting Aldon back will help, for sure...but our DB's need to cut that **** out. Reggie Nelson

I guess the other side of that, it's usually a quick score and our defense can get some rest and we get the ball back to the offense

Tyrod Taylor loves throwing deep...hopefully we can apply pressure so his WR's don't get time to run them routes. Praying we get DJ and Amerson back.

Need a source on the MEJ info. That just doesn't make any sense at all.

MEJ was fully cleared to play football following last season's neck injury. He returned and suffered a hip injury.

If something else has come up and it is a head/neck issue, and he's at risk of paralysis or death, that's not mental that's very much physical/structural.

Yeah, I was thinking to myself that the injury he got during the preseason was a hip injury and had nothing to do with his neck.

Hopefully we get some kinda info soon, but the Raiders stay low key on these injury updates...

That was some performance he had after that injury, I had a similar PIP dislocation last month and Im still unable to clutch a football... he musta got a luke skywalker transplant or something for that to be his throwing hand. Theres no way they just put on an Oval 8 splint and a catching glove for him to go back out on field like that – heroic stuff

Overall on the season I blame KNJ and scheme more than anything, followed by Reggie Nelson. We get zero help from our safeties over the top. Rarely is that KJ's assignment but Reggie Nelson has been slow to react and taken poor angles numerous times.

I'm still trying to figure out why yesterday we line TJ Carrie up man to man with Tedd Ginn with zero designed safety help deep.

That's on the coaches. Unless Karl Joseph assignment was actually the deep third and he just blew it, which I kind of doubt.

Feel like we played pretty well against the pass considering injuties.

Benjamin just Moss'd Sean Smith on that play, Nelson couldn't help cause Funchess was wide open on the other side cause Hamilton fell down like 2 seconds into the play.

And only Hayden could keep pace with Ginn.

It's hard to say as of now who's assignment that was on the Ted Ginn Jr pass...I'll wait for Raider Analysis to drop some tweets on it but as of now I think it's easy to point the finger at KNJ and Reggie Nelson.

Antonio Hamilton gettin beat TWICE on that TD pass to Kelvin Benjamin. Then he gets targeted on that final drive, I really thought Cam was going to take them to a FG.

On another note, Clive Walford came through big time yesterday. IF he can come through and make those type of plays moving forward, this offense will literally be unstoppable. No way you stop, Coop, Slot Roberts, Crabs, the run game AND an effective TE. It'll be HUGE if Walford starts contributing the way he was hyped up to.

I know some of y'all hate Musgrave, but when he does make adjustments and finds the weakness of a team he definitely knows how to exploit it. Houston couldn't stop the RB's from catching the ball and he made those adjustments. Yesterday, you can tell that they started to target Kuchely's replacement. A couple of times they put Crab in the slot and they didn't go to it till real late in the game.

Musgrave does try to get cute too much though...and gets to conservative at the wrong times.

But this has been Reggie Nelson ALL SEASON.

We needed help from our TE's more than receivers. Clive and Mychal helped when needed most yesterday.

Some one phoned into 957 The Game and said Aldon is in the building

Word Hamilton fell down so quick. Cam missed an easy TD cuz Funchess was wide open. Kelvin caught it but if Sean Smith would've been able to knock it down...

Amerson was really missed yesterday. Also, I still get annoyed when Hayden catches heat. He's clearly better than Carrie & Hamilton. I'll take my chances with the defenses trying to expose DJ Hayden all game over not starting DJ Hayden.

Aldon is going to be reinstated this week. The nfl has until dec 3 to make a decision on Smith.

Hayden has played well this year. He's a good nickel back than can step in and play the out if needed.

They have until the 3rd to make a decision, but does that mean that he's getting reinstated? Can't be still be in trouble for the smoking weed video?

this year as in within the next 4 games?
