I don't know how you figure that. We've spent much of the season #1 in the league in rushing.

I think the run game doesn't skip a beat and we remain top 5 without Murray, but the week to week treating Murray like he's a cancer inhibiting the run game is bizarre.

I stated it wrong but from a game standpoint it is way better. U will see way less 1 no 0 yard gains, which they usually do on 1st down which will make the down n distance way easier to manage on 2nd n 3rd down.
Olawale n take over as goal line back nothing missed.

Could be a blessing in disguise with Murray...excited to see how this turns out :hat

What a draft by McKenzie. I wasn't expecting him to go and get another back on top of DeAndre. He goes and finds a gem in Richard.

McKenzie is a wizard. Karl, Corey James and Jihad all more or less contributing starters and they were all taking mid term exams this time last year. Same goes for Deandre and Jalen.

5 rookies with the talent and ability to step in immediately. That's good scouting right there.

We will see. I hope you're right that we'll see less runs for short and no gain, but I don't think it's anywhere near as simple as you broke it down.

With Murray out, now Jalen and Deandre arent going to be as fresh as they've been when toating the rock all season, they're going to have to do more of the heavy lifting on first down, they're going to be featured more often in obvious running situations when the defensive front is less than advantageous.

This is a serious test for our young rookies. I don't think it's a given that you can just extrapolate their current level of production across whats going to amount to more volume and a heavier workload without Latavius.

You'd think we come out firing with Carr attacking their CBs since Verrett is out, but Musgrave will begin with establishing the run I'm sure.

I have no doubt in Richard/Washington this Sunday, those boys about to put up some real numbers. Not none of this 20 rushes for 12 yards Murray bull***

I guess I just don't see the point if we're not going to base our discourse in reality man. :lol

Murray hasn't had 20 touches in a game all season. Let alone 20 rushing attempts. Highest was 14 in week 1 when he averaged 4+ per carry.

On top of those 5 rookies you have UDFA Darius Latham getting snaps and 7th rounder Vadal Alexander stepping in for emergency relief.

Shalique Calhoun getting snaps here & there too.

Murray has played well this year but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about what Dwash+Richard can do in bigger roles (just don't ******* fumble again)

agreed. i want to see washington and richard get more carries. can we also mention that our OL has only allowed 2 sacks this year?

Highest paid Oline in footbpaid and a QB with exceptional pocket pressence and instincts. :hat

I've said it since his rookie year Carr deserves some of the credit as well for the low sack totals the past three years.

Any word on MEJ? It would be nice if we can get him back before we head over to Florida and our showdown with the Broncos.

I haven't heard anything...but I believe the rule is you can start practicing 6 weeks after being placed on IR and can play two weeks after that.

So, if he's healthy he should be starting practice sometime soon?

He's going to be out at least 8 weeks. The Raiders want to make sure MEJ is 100% before he returns. Even if he’s out a couple extra weeks.

He got hurt week 1 of Preseason right? So it's been about 7 weeks or so?

Aldon is expected back mid Nov. right? Can he practice with the team? Hope he has been keeping up with his conditioning.

The earliest he can be activated is week 6. He'll be able to play in week 8. I think he comes back after the bye against the Texans.

Prolly better that boi don't go to Mexico

It ends on the 17th of November. He can apply for reinstatement 60 days before the suspension ends.

The auto place my friend gets wheels/work done on his whip has had Aldon's Benz there since he's checked into rehab, my friend got new wheels done last week and the car is still there and the owner said he still hasn't checked out yet.

Malcolm Smith & Clive Walford look like they'll play.
Austin Howard looks like he'll be active, but it looks like Vadal Alexander is gunna start at RT again.

Joey Bosa will also make his NFL debut against the raiders.

Wish Lee Smith was around to give him a proper introduction [emoji]128557[/emoji]

Top 2 CBs for San Diego are out, hope Musgrave doesn't hesitate to run the score up. We should put up 30+ with ease. Really looking forward to Washington & Richard get off with Murray out.
