I really believe this team will go as far as Latavius can take them...If he can even grab 80 yards a game off like 15-20 carries, or as a committee give us at least 110 yards of rushing a game than I think we'll be good...

I just don't know if Latavius got that in him though

Not sure if any of our RB's got that in them...

I think Jalen and Washington will make a big difference on our offense, hell Carr was the 2nd leading rusher for us last season.

Deep down I just want DeAndre and Jalen to replace Latavius

But I just don't know what they're capable of against NFL defenses yet...we'll see...

agreed. having two other capable RBs is a big deal. we had to pass more than we should have because we didnt have a 2nd back.

If they're used in space I know they'll be more effective than Latavius, who I don't trust in space. Someone with a better eye than me may be able to correct me, but it seems Latavius lacks fluid hips and is straight north-south. Do we have evidence showing otherwise?

Do we even trust him in between the tackles? Real talk.

And anyone seeing these pics of Bourbon street? **** looks lliitt with Raider Nation :lol

Yea running north-south in space with minimal contact is the one thing I do trust Murray with. Problem is those are damn near utopian conditions. It's the tough yards between the tackles I don't trust him with.

Like Johnny_Cakes Johnny_Cakes said though, Murray has no wiggle either. Lateral movement is almost nonexistent. If you're not a power back, and you're not elusive, and you're not a lane finder, what are you?

McFadden was 100% N/S, upright runner too but when in good health, he did run with violence.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back..he's forgotten in that backfield now...

McFadden just had zero durability. I liked him though. I like big bruising backs.

I remember that one season McFadden BEASTED for like the first 6 games. Then missed the rest of the year

That's true about McFadden: his initial contact with the first defender was violent and punished them. Latavius really needs to develop some other skill if he wants to retain the starting spot.

Because I'm willing to be JDR will move him to second string if we're getting close to securing a playoff spot and he's the weak link in the offense.

He needs to be more like AP. Some toughness and some finesse. Right now he's basically just a sprinter.

He's have to run lower and add weight to resemble AP's running, plus have a willingness to crack the first point of contact. It's that last part I don't believe he'll do.

It's a shame bc he has the height and speed. He's still young though and he could develop. Tbh I wish we drafted Derrick Henry, but oh we'll.

would be dope, think Reggie is a firm believer in the late round RB tho.

Just touched down in New Orleans, the Nation is everywhere. Some of us are putting flags on rental cars :smokin
