Idk exactly but Crab has long been on record as saying it's a blessing to play with a QB with the arm talent and positional understanding of Carr. I believe he's used the verbiage, "a real QB," in the past.

Media always trying to bait him into saying something about Kaep, he usually swerves the questions pretty well.
