Thugs Raping Elderly Women...Why?

So I was browsing NYPD's Twitter and seen this:

Have you seen Ryan Bayard? On 6/2 at 6:30 AM, in the vicinity of Brookville Blvd & 148 St in Queens, the suspect entered the 78-year-old victim's home while she was asleep and forcibly raped her.

When they break into the home, thats automatically felony burglary...so do they think to themselves, whats one more felony in the grand scheme of things?

I stumbled upon this blog called The Injustice File, and apparently this is a common theme that has been happening for decades...

Carlton Gary….was 23-years-old when he began his career of home invasion rapes/murders of elderly white females. He was responsible for at least 11 attacks. Nine victims were found dead.

Gary’s MO: “On the night of September 15, 1977, she awoke to find an intruder in her bedroom. He wrapped a nylon stocking around her neck and choked the life out of her.”

* Ruth Schwob, 79 (?) (survived - stocking still wrapped tightly around her neck
when police arrived)
* Mildred Dismukes Borom, 78 (strangled to death)
* Kathleen Woodruff, 77 (strangled in her bed)

Ambrose Sykes – black, age 32
Sentenced to death in Kent County, Delaware
Date of crime: November 7, 2004

Prosecution’s case/defense response:

Sykes was convicted of the rape and murder of retired teacher Virginia Trimnell. He then placed her bound and gagged body in a suitcase in the trunk of her car, and drove her car around for a few days before police pulled him over. Sykes escaped, and eluded police for more than 3 weeks before he was captured. Defense argued that there was no forced entry into the Trimnell apartment, nor did she have defensive wounds, thus suggesting that Sykes had a relationship with her. In the penalty phase, defense presented evidence that Sykes worked as a male gigolo and Trimnell was infact a longstanding client. The reason he killed her is because she stopped making her payments, and had scheduled 3 successive appointments without making any effort to pay for Syke's services.

Craig Price (known as "the Warwick slasher") is an African American male and one of America's youngest serial killers from Warwick, Rhode Island. Now a full grown adult, he remains in prison and is scheduled for release in 2020. Price has shown violent behavior while in prison and was supposed to be released after his 21st birthday. Psychiatrists believe that the young man was unable to be effectively treated so he remains behind bars.

Born August 22nd of 1974, at the time of his arrest for the murder charges, he was about to turn 16 years old the very next day. Craig Price's is from and committed his crimes in the Buttonwoods neighborhood of Warwick, Rhode Island. During his confession, he showed no remorse for his crimes and mimicked the dying victims screams and pleas while in interrogation. The first murder took place July 27, 1987 when he was 13 years old. Fifty-seven year old Rebecca Spencer, who stayed only two houses down from Price. was stabbed 58 times, was brutally raped for 15 minutes. To add insult to injury, Price finished the attack by climaxing onto her face. Miraculously, she survived but suffered permanent damage to her vision, a combination of the knife wounds and an infection caused by Price's semen.

Two years later he struck again on September 1, 1989. During this time Craig Price was a 15 year old freshman in high school. He stabbed 79 year old Joan Heaton 11 times, her daughter 30 year old Jennifer 62 times, and crushed Jennifer's 8 year old daughter Melissa's skull. Price raped all three anally and convinced them to perform oral copulation afterwards. The crime was so heinous that the blades broke into the victims bones. He was apprehended two weeks later.

I would think the motive is money but apparently not.
