Saw this on the comments page off the Alex Collier videos... "As far as time travel goes, wouldn't changing the past be a moot point as it'salready happened? Or are we looking at divergent timelines held with in a quantum flux, that allows for changes to be made within a parabolic view of whatthose who do the manipulation desire? Or more simply: Is free will an illusion? If I can travel back in time, then my actions in the past have alreadyhappened, even though though those actions seem to be spontaineous by my standards? Or is it divergence?"

Alex Collier is a moron. He said there was an alien race that was 600.000 years ahead of us technologically. Then he said that there is another race that was50.000 years ahead of us technologically. But then he mentioned that these two races are at war with each other. There can't be a war between two racesthat are 550.000 years apart in terms of technology. The one that was 550.000 years ahead would wipe the floor with them in a matter of seconds.

I remember from his videos that their technology is more spiritual based.

Anyone have a vague idea of an answer? I've been trying to figure this out for years now...

Thanks

when i heard him describe the andromedan's ship, it blew my mind. i've read and heard a lot of contactee's story and i have to say AC is one ofonly a few i actually believe. op, have you read this before?

If you're coming in here to call Alex Collier an idiot... do so, but know that your opinions won't change mine and you're onlybumping this thread. On a lighter note, anyone see the new Samantha Darko...

If someone travels back in time and does things to alter the future, no one in the future will be aware of these changes. It will happen instantaneously and tous it will be "the way it's always been".

So theoretically, someone could have already done this several times and we would have no idea.

If you travel back in time, wouldn't you just create a new timeline of your own? And...each time you travel back, wouldn't you be "creating"multiples of yourself so long as you travel at a later point each time? For example:

You travel back in time just after you were born and see yourself. You then travel back once again and see the two previous version of yourself; the one thatwas just born and the one that initially traveled back in time.

Like in Back to the Future!

Even if one were to travel back in time, they would act in a way that will cause things that already happened in the future. They wouldn't change a thing.

So, if I were to go back to kill my grandfather, I wouldn't be able to kill him. In some way I will be thwarted from my mission. If I were tohypothetically kill him, which I can't, I wouldn't be alive to be able to go back in the past.

So, while your time-traveling actions may have bearing on what goes on in the future, it in no way can change what has already happened. It will just follow ina way that allow the things that already happened to come to past.

I must have trouble comprehending your answers since my question is still, well, a question. Anyone have another input? Thanks

Your questions is too hypothetical to get a definitive answer. Who's to say if time travel is possible we would be able even alter the past to begin with?I mean that in the physical sense. You can travel back in time and end up in a different plane/dimension viewing the past unable to interact with it directly.

That was just one theory I've toyed with

but lets say you are ableto and change the past. Free will wouldn't be an illusion if you go to change yours or anyone else's past. Since the you traveling in the past is theone choosing to change it. Simply, only free will can thwart free will, just like in the present.

As far as the whole alternate time lines created it's possible but it's also possible that every time you travel back in time and change the past thattime line, the future you once knew will be destroyed and a new one that only you, the time traveler responsible for changing the future will have no clue oflike in Back To The Future

This sounds funny as hell. Reminds me of homey whostarted Mormonism

Not unless you become you're own grandfather.

Oh how I love time travel
