I just bought a new car (2013 mustang) and I need tints done but I don't wanna go to a hood spot and have them butcher the new whip. And one know where I can find a shop that has great work.. Thanks

Where in SoCal are you? I have a spot in Pasadena/ Alhambra area. They have the best film and it's appt only.

I meant I know a spot near South Pasadena. If you are interested, I'll tell you the name if you're looking in my area. I got my cars tinted there.

I stay very near Pasadena and Alhambra .. What's the place called? In exchanged ill tell u were to find the best Hawaiian rib eye in Pasadena Lol

Check out California Tint on rosemead blvd, only thing is they get packed after 11am, so get there between 7-8am so you can get in and out of there in an hour or so.

Good looking, if u still want that Hawaiian rib eye check out Houston's in Pasadena..

cool, never had Hawaiian rib eye but i'll keep it mind, maybe i'll go to old town next week and check this spot out...:smokin

I can vouch for them too....wifes car was done there and any problems, they fix it.

Also, if you are in OC area, Made in the Shade is the speeez-ot!
Dono how many rides I've done there, but never ever, ever, ever gone bad.

There are different types of tint film now, some are even better than ceramic, but the cost of ceramic (depending on the company) has lowered somewhat than 3-4 years ago when ceramic was the best film.

Have to do your due diligence to get the film you want at the budget you want to spend it at.

Also it helps to also tint your windshield but with clear or close to clear tint to block out as much of the UV rays as possible. Your face and skin will thank you when you get older. I always spend on the most expensive UV blocking and cool temperature film for the windshield to help prevent skin and also dashboard/interior sun damage.

But tinting windshields are illegal, however I disagree.

I got into an accident once and if it wasn't for the film, my gf (now wife) and I would have scars on our face and arms because of shattered glass flying in. The film held the window glass together and protected us. There's no telling what the shattered glass would have done to our face, eyes etc.

But to each their own and their pockets. Sometimes you don't realize the added benefits until something like that happens and I am glad that I had the tint for my windshield and front windows.

I hope you guys find the right tint shop and film for your rides.

another for Cali Tint in rosemead!

best prices and great customer service.

Any recommendations in the Glendora/ West Covina area? Looking to tint two cars ('04 Civic Hybrid and '12 Toyota Camry with NAVI).
