• All white or all grey shoes work best for custom painting. Like a blank canvas.
• Pick up some cheap shoes at a thrift store to practice on first.
• I personally never liked masking and spraying my customs. I always hand brushed everything.
• If you don't wan't it to look like shiny wet paint, then don't use gloss paint.
• Spray it with a clear coat after to help protect the paint.

Yea I Put Krylon Matte Finisher On Them

You need to add a flexible varnish to your paint to add flexibility so it will not break in those areas. LIQUITEX FLEXIBLE VARNISH is available at most art stores
