Tipping Thread. Vol. Another One

But let’s say you’re at a restaurant you are trying out with a date. The food comes out and it’s missing cheese or something. Would you guys ever send it back?

I couldn’t take the risk of it coming out with spit next time. I don’t trust servers/waiters.

I would just take the L and keep it moving.

I know this happens

If they forgot something, i don't think they're trip, but if you're being nit picky about something, and it's a petty cook, then maybe.

But as stated, you really wouldn't even know.

Like you order a cheeseburger and it came with no cheese? I'm sending it back ...

I’m mad paranoid about this , I wont send something back unless it’s like the complete wrong meal or something lol.

Won’t even mention to my girl if something is wrong because I dont want her to open her big mouth and send my **** back

Nah because they just gonna toss a piece of unmelted cheese on it. Unmelted cheese is worse than no cheese

Tipping is dumb. Why do restaurants put their waiters/waitresses salaries in the hands of the customer? We the customers do not manage or employ the waiters/waitresses. We just want to eat. Tipping should either be abolished or already include a fixed tip within the pricing of the meals.

Damn doordash

Tips I get thru Uber come straight to me. Prefer cash tips tho obviously.

Tip for carry out? For what? Do these people stop and think and ask themselves that question or do they just enjoy wasting money?
I think SOME people don't have the balls to press that "No Tip" when a worker is standing in their face looking at them.

Never tip.

Its funny I've been using ubereats more lately and I notice the app is pretty pushy for feedback and asking if I'm gonna tip the driver. Today even automatically added it to my bill before checkout. Doordash makes it easier to put in 0.

Knew this would make it's way to NT.
Second thing I thought when I saw this on FB was successful people still eat at ihop?
It's cool he gave a stranger 2k but you know he ate there only to do this and post it.

Yo you HAVE to tip on carry out?
If there's a tip jar, yes.
Whether it's a mom and pop or a chain, they busted their *** putting together your order. I usually leave change but if it's a place I consistently get food from and they consistently do right by me, then I slip a greenback in the jar. They deserve it.
