tips for las vegas...?

For all of you guys planning to head to Vegas in the near future, do your best to obtain points/comps so you wont be stuck getting 85 dollar rooms at CircusCircus

.

-As of right now, Palazzo seems to be one of the easier places to obtain comps through slot play, probably because they're desperate at this point.
-From personal experience, MGM/Mirage properties are also pretty easy to obtain comps. Should only take cycling through a couple hundred in slots (note: thatdoes not mean LOSING a couple hundred. it only means playing it). Not a hard task if you've got friends who are down to help boost your comp points.
-It is very hard to obtain comps through table play. To give you an idea, Mirage only tracks table play of $25 bets.In my last trip, I logged a grand total of 14 minutes of rated table play

.
Video poker awards points at a slower rate (about half the rate of a same denomination slot machine). On the other hand, playing with optimal strategy ondecent machines gives the house a 1% or so edge.
-Also, when trying to obtain points/comps, concentrate your gambling in one place. Doesn't make sense to try to put a hundred in x casino, leave, and thendo the same at y casino.
-Some people also say it helps if you're not currently staying at the hotel that you wish to be comped at.

Well today we walked from the TI to the NY NY and although it seems like its close the walk is a +%!!*, but whatever .. Tonight we going to see Zoomanity andthen to Club 54 if that ain't popping we are heading to PURE ... I also bought tickets to KA in the MGM for tomorrow night and get some rest .. probably goto Old Vegas for a bit and Thursday well we probably hit the pull and go to XS at night ..

One thing if you are Military the tickets for the shows are almost 40% off and you get to pick your seats .. those tickets for half BS ain't really halfand you only save about 10 bucks a ticket and you don't get to pick your seats .. also the cats giving "Free Passes" for the clubs outside askfor like a tip when you can easily walk to the hotel/club and ask to be put in the VIP or get Passes for discount there plus you can go in early get your stampand come back at a later time ...

Damn good lookin NT, i just showed my lady this thread and we're changing Hotels right now!!

Where is a nice hotel for a good price, thats not wack..

Thanks

how nice of a hotel you want depends on the amount of money you want to spend

there are many different hotels that carter to different needs and wants of consumers

Just Nice enough, we're not gonna be spending much time in there but sleeping. But we want it to be near all the hot spots, not far away where we'restuck in a taxi cab all day..

any suggestions? we're thinking of getting Stratosphere, MGM, Golden Nugget, or Ballagio [i dont know how to spell it] out of those, which one is thebetter deal according to money & the locations?

Good Lookin

Bellagio its right in the middle of the strip..or you can do ceasars palace. Imperial Palace is a good location too for very cheap price, but the place is adump.

Goin May 29-31, staying at Treasure Island 199 Friday 220 Saturday. Hitting up Poetry, Pure, and see what the commotion is about XS. Definitely gonna behitting the pool to crack a few broads. Get drunk, and try to pipe something bad.

Actually, that actually works. I am not sure which ones you went to but the one I went to, I got a great price on the show, about 40% off.
I also got to pick seats, as long as you arrive early to pick up your tickets at the shoe, maybe 1-1.5 hour before the show starts, they'll let you pickany seats available.
You don't pick the seats initially where you buy the tickets, you pick the seats where you pick the tickets up.
I saw LOVE for $100 flat and I was sitting practically by the stage. They usually run for $170 before tax so it was a good price.
The Jersey Boys were selling there for $70 for the same tickets I paid $160 (before taxes).

Is it really that easy to pull broads for the 1 nighter in Vegas or is that all hype?

BTW if I would of have shown military id they would of have been $151

Where did you buy the tickets from? It sounds like we didn't purchase from the same place.

I suggest everyone to go to Ellis Island Casino for the restaurant and the special they have. Everytime I go to Vegas, I will go there to eat. That is until, Igo out there not on a budget.

It's like $6.99 for a 16 oz Beer from their own brewery, a Salad, a like 8 oz Filet with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans.

When I was there in March, we played craps on the mini-craps tables before dinner and saw some old dude in a Raider's snap cap hit 7 on the come out sixtimes in a row. I was at the table with about 6 friends and we were going crazy screaming and doing Tiger-esque fist pumps. The pit boss kept coming over tosee what the deal was.

I felt like my time there was a shake down. I had a dank dinner for unbelievably cheap and took the casino for around $325 in about 45 minutes of playing crapsbefore and after dinner.

I never make it to Ellis Island, but it's on my list to do.. i hear they have 1.50 drafts of their own beer and it's really decent.

To the guy switching off circus circus... Bellagio is by far the best on your list, but it's going to be a pretty penny to stay there. MGM is decentlypriced with a solid location.

I'd try Caesars, or if you can find a room, Bill's Gamblin Hall is a good little spot with a great location.

I personally hate MGM's location, it is at the end of the strip and I feel that the best stuff are in the other end of the strip.
Palazzo is the best priced rooms right now, seriously. That place is usually empty too but what's good is, it is pretty close to TI, Caesars, Mirage,Fashion Show and connected to Venetian.

The best location is Paris, Bally's, Bellagio and Caesars though, right in the middle of the strip.
The last two times I visited Vegas a few weeks ago, I stayed at Paris and it was great, almost everything is within walking distance.

Craftsy- I had an ale they brewed that was similar to blue moon, but uniquely different. When you order it in the casino they give you it in a 16 oz glass too. It's $$. You should definitely make it out there next time you go though.

I also stayed at TI in December and I thought the rooms were real nice. They were small, but had nice LCDs and the most comfortable beds ever.

I heard Paris sucks major !@#@$, I stayed at Mandalay Bay when I went to Vegas and it was fantastic. Across the street was a liqour store and a supermarket aswell as a McDonalds for snacking so that helped us a bit when me and my people were there.
