Tips on cleaning the white outsole of XVII

Hey how do you clean the white rubber outsole of the XVII ? It basically got yellowed over the years and I want to make it look whiter. I've tried cleaning them with warm water and dish washer soap but as you can see they still look yellow. Any tips on how to get rid of the yellow stain and make them look whiter and cleaner ? Recommend me some good cleaning solution/products too please. Thanks

SEAGLOW. the solution to unyellowing clear soles. yup. no sunlight needed either.

there's a video online from island girl products that show seaglow being used to un-yellow white rubber, but i can't find it. hope this helps..

I've always wondered about Sea Glow. Can it treat severely yellowed soles? Or does it only treat mildly yellowed soles?

It will do severely yellowed soles, but it takes time... and in my experience, you do need sunlight, although some other source of UV light may work just as well.

fine grit sandpaper does wonders for dingy white soles. Itll smooth out some of the texture but the end result is brilliant white.

yea, well from that video it looks like you don't need sunlight to un yellow white rubber soles. and yea, it will treat severely yellow CLEAR soles (i.e XI's, V's, VI's, etc.). but it will TAKE PLENTY OF TIME and PATIENCE. i'm still working on my 00 concords and they were dookie brown and now they're a light yellow. its been 2 months and about 6 treatments.

there's a method you can use with a UV light and a humidity dome, with no need for sunlight since you have the light for replacement. but i suggest trying the sunlight method first before you advance on to the UV light method. 

fine sand paper? so basically your shaving off the layer that's yellowed? how long would that last?

. i guess to each their own.
