Anyone else notice the amount of sugar they pour into your coffee at Dunkin Donuts. When I get an iced coffee in the hood I swear they pour 2 table spoons of sugar into it

I noticed a long time ago.  Certain neighborhoods provide syrup, others near water, for the same menu item

- The real thought-for-the-day lies in understanding the reasoning behind this phenomenon.

Diabetes is a genetic disease triggered by obesity.

Most americans has diabetes once they hit 45 yrs or older. I'm scared too.

Type II is strongly influenced by environmental factors.  Type I is mostly genetic.

exactly. sugar actually doesn't trigger diabetes

False. Sugar does for type II. Thats how my brother got it. He wasn't obese, fat or anything, he was actually lighter than he should've been and got it because of the amount of sugar he consumed.

Black coffee ftw. I don't like the feeling of caffeine anyways though

high frutose conrsyrup and other artificial sweetners are more likely to cause diabetes and even cancers rather than natural raw cane sugars

Coffees not bad especially if you dont use a lot of sugar. I know a lot of people that drink it and they rarely put much sugar. when they see me drink it, they freak out. i need a lot of sugar in it. good thing i havent been drinking it as much :x
