MY Top 15 Favorite Artists - No Order
1. Ghostface Killah - Metaphoric Master, and Slang General.
2. GZA - Genius...simple and plain. Every time you hear a verse from him, you hear a new connection of words...damn near every time at least.
3. Mos Def & Talib Kweli - Hey, Black Star is my thing....they came later than the Native Tongues, but they hold it down supreme.
4. Common - Goes to show you don't have to be hood to be Hip Hop.
5. Method Man & Redman - I can cheat if I want to, it's MY list. But whentogether, they vibe beyond any other group's capabilites.
6. Styles P. - Definitely one of the grimiest MC's to grip the mic.
7. Inspectah Deck - Word play is unreal...flat out.
8. Fabolous - He makes nice use of multis and punchlines.
9. Cassidy - Battle Rapper Extraordinaire....even tho he wont give credit to Big L, whom he got his style from.
10. Kanye West - the Rapper / Producer of the year...Black Milk is on his way, check him out.
11. Skyzoo - BK Representative...too cool and down to earth.
12. Nas - Illmatic.
13. Jay-Z - Unique style supreme.
14. Big L - Arguably the most underrated, unknown, and unfortunate that has ever gripped the mic.
15. Notorious B.I.G. - The Man, The Legend. I wonder how it would be if he wasn't dead...
