Traffic Ticket help

I got a ticket a couple days ago for expired registration. I wanted to know if it was a way that I could have that ticket dismissed since I got my tags updated the next day. I have been searching some websites but can't find a definite answer. Help me out!

it all depends on the judge. first how long was it expired? some states let you pass with an expired tag for a week. just take it up there and show that you updated your tags the next day. they might dismiss it.
