Sup NT famb.

I'm looking to get one of those TV tuners that people talk about.

Apparently, I can get the local channels here in the city at HD quality w/ this thing.

How much is it, and where can i cop?

Thanks

your hdtv most likely already has a tuner in it.  To get your local channels in hd all you'll need is a pair of

rabbit ears or any basic antenna. then just do a channel scan.

Make sure your TV has a tuner, not all of them do.

If it does then all you need is an antenna. The one I use is made by RCA, the model number is "ANT111". They're sold at BBY and you can also purchase them from Amazon. Shouldn't be more than $9. Just because an antenna is expensive does not mean it will perform well unfortunately. After doing research I decided on it based on the reviews and the price.

You can use the TitanTV website to see local channel listings here: http://www.titantv.com/

http://www.antennapoint.com/ will show you where the broadcast towers are in your area/county so you know where to aim the antenna. If you decide on an indoor antenna you'll get the best reception positioning it in front of a window. You will have to play around with it a bit to see what position gives you the best reception. If the cable length is too short you can use a coaxial cable and a male to male adapter so you can set it up further away.
