Twilight Zone appreciation

Season kind of flaundering now.

The some men ep was meh. Classic TZ eps like that had a twist at the end that hit home the moral of the story and humanize it/focus it.

Pretty much the same with this other ep where the gov. takes the woman and questions her and ****s with her mind to see if she's some alien.

All these eps are missing that extra thing that make the eps twilight zone. It's very transparent they want to do eps about progressive feminism, toxic masculinity, Trump, illegal immigrants and deportation but that seems to be all there is to it.

All they have to do is look at an episode like The Monsters Are Due On Maple St. or People Are Alike All Over to see how this is done right.

like she wasnt supposed to go home so the correct choice she was just supposed to be on the run forever?

like the maid didnt run to her family too?

and why was she so suspicious?

how were those ppl in that back room?

and how convenient right as they talking they get busted, like was that on purpose?

didnt really understand this one or glenns ep too much

Season started out pretty good, dipped in the middle and ended strong with Blurryman. I like the genre bending and the fourth wall break.

A lot heavier on the social commentary than I expected and suffered for it at times, but overall I think it was a decent first season.

Just started the second season today. First episode was decent. I’m a sucker for sci-fi twists.

First few mins of the second episode got me rollin’. Homeboy’s accent killed me.

Anyone else still on board or am I the only one still watching?

I was just wondering what to watch next after watching all of Search Party s3 and all of the available Doom Patrol episodes.

Gonna start now.

Episode 3 was pretty foul.

Them Smollet's don't know what to do with fame. She should've secured a lifetime bag before giving it up

Topher cast perfectly.

S2 was better than s1. Only maybe 2 or 3 average episodes.

I'm digging the callbacks to classic episodes they seem to do for the finales.

Twilight Zone Won't Move to Paramount+, Canceled After Two Seasons

As CBS All Access rebrands as Paramount+, the streaming service will be going without the new Twilight Zone, which was canceled after two seasons.
