College players have two at each position. Lions remain with standard 11 players.

I would say the Sports&Training forum wins

For the sake of the thread: The Lions. They a damn pro team

the Lions would DESTROY them, hell the Lions second and third stringers would probably destroy them

When the USC squad with Leinart/Bush/White that lost to UT in the title game, everyone was saying how they would have no problems winning against the Raiders.
Same goes for those great Miami teams with Dorsey at QB

Everyone didn't say they would have no problems beating the Raiders

the few people who did say that were idiots then and they're idiots now. Forthe record, that years Raiders squad>last seasons Raiders squad.

No college team in the last two decades would have a chance against a single NFL team from the same time span....end of discussion.

22 vs. 11 any respectable D1/D2 school would win

Success in Colllege doesnt mean Pro Success, people fail to see alot of varibles...

come on. the lions are pretty bad but .... come on. that is so disrespectful to say a college team could beat an nfl team.

it always amazes me how much casual sports fans fail to understand the difference between the collegiate and professional game
Exactly, people who you think are bums, were probably a star on their college team. I bet you culpepper wouldn't even get sacked.

Remember, the Lions are still a professional football team. They just aren't as good as other professional football teams.

Dang, 22 vs 11 could get pretty crazy... But some players beat double coverage all the time in the pros.

These posts pop up once a year, casual sports fans kill me...

Word...in Football the step up from Amateur (which is basically what college is) to the Pro's is no Joke....dudes are faster, bigger, and smarter

....you'd be hard pressed to find any amateur to try and step in and beat a Professional except for maybe golf or some crap

Man CJ would abuse them ALL DAY. Tim can get those runs off on college kids but the NFL is a different story.

This is a ridiculous question. Kevin Jones and Calvin Johnson would both have field days and the QB for the college team would throw pics like Gus Frerotte.
