Yeah that rule is weird, you can only stack +2 cards or Wilde +4 card as pass it along to the next person.

Like two months ago I broke out a fresh deck of uno.
the first thing my daughter does is opens the deck grabs the instructions and runs away and throws them in the trash.
like I didn’t know how to play or something, like she was just gonna make the rules up and get over on me. Smh.

Yeah very weird. I’m playing the uno game app on my phone and the +2 can only be stacked, but the next player can’t use a skip card to pass it to the next player.
