USPS help needed Vol. Prevention

So let's say I ship something out and I find out that I'm probably gonna get scammed, can I call usps and tell them to put the package on hold onwhatever city its at?

EDIT- i reached my post limit so here. I haven't shipped nothing out yet. I'm shipping a package out tomorrow with tracking number and insurance.I'm going to ask at the postal office I guess.

Call them and find out man....You got transaction receipt with a tracking number or anything? If so, then call them and let them know what's up.

Im not sure but i dont think you can. With UPS you can.

If you're that worried, refund the money and don't ship.
