USPS Question

I received something in the mail but it was the wrong product, so I am going to send it back using USPS.. so I switched all the labels and put on the newlabels, etc..

I just called the store I purchased it from and they said they haven't received the product and its been 1-2 weeks already..

Is there a way, I can get paid from USPS if the item was lost? Because, it seems that they didn't even scan it so I can't even track it..

What's the exact time since it's been sent man. 7 days and 14 days aren't close figures.

What type of service did you send it under? Priority? First class? Media mail?

And, did you put tracking on it? You never explicitly said that you put tracking.

Where are you and where is the place it was supposed to have arrived?

1. It would have to be 2 weeks ago.
2. I am not sure on the service, I just put on the return label I received with the package and gave it to the post office.
3. Yes, I believe there was tracking on it.
3. The package is supposed to go to Ohio.

I'm assuming you kept the tracking number... was this to Ralph Lauren by any chance?

I just returned a sweater today and it should have been scanned in by now... it's not. Nothing you can do except keep the tracking number.. or callwhoever you sent it to and hope the keep the info that they package with each return label so you can get an insurance number.
