Vans Era fit

So I've never owned a pair of Vans and am thinking about buying a pair. I'm just wondering how they fit? I usually wear an 8-8.5 in dunks. Do they fitthe same way? Or do I need to go down/up a size? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i say true to size, maybe half a size up if your foot is wide. same with authentics

Half size down from your normal size, they run big.

i wear a 9 in dunks and i stay wearing a 9 in vans eras. seems like a lot of mixed answers in here though.

If they're syndicates, I go .5 up. If they're regular eras, I usually go true to size.
