I bought a pair of these today and I found a lot of good tips on how to keep my shoes nice while wearing them on the Maintenance Thread. I'm going to be using Kiwi Fast Acting Sport to clean the white leather since i've been using it for a couple years now. I also want to get into Sea Glowing but I had some questions. When should I start using Sea Glow? Also how often should I Sea Glow seeing as how I just bought the shoes? Every weekend? Do I need to make sure it only goes on the clear part of the sole or is it alright if it gets on the colored part of the soles?

my opinion. seaglow only preferable on XIs. just coz to me XIs is str8 garbage with the yellow soles. thats why im doin mine this weekend. (for my 00 pair) on the retro 6s. i believe it give the shoes a classic look even if soles are yellow. dats just me tho. i dont think id ever seaglow my 6s i own now even if they turn yellow. weird i know. but i guess the XIs got iconic coz of their purely icey soles. am i right? or am i right? lol

This gotta be a record. How many seaglow threads have we had in the past two weeks?

1. seaglow helps prevent oxidation (yellowness) so doing it early may do you good. Or just wait it out until they start to yellow..
2. Seaglow when you feel its needed. lol at every weekend.
3. If you get it anywhere else, I suggest wiping it off. Seaglow works on clear rubber and white rubber.

study the care/maintenance thread here and learn it. I did my research on here and ISS before I asked any question on seaglowing. Hope I could help.

I did read over it but I just wasn't sure about those few things. Anyway thanks for clearing that up for me.
