They were comfortable, but it was a complete flop. Everyone with a Nike deal wore them at the All Star game that year. Nike tried their hardest to promote these and failed miserably.

Agreed. They were ugly.

Nkke went all out. They put players faces on the shoe. They made players who had their own sig shoe like STAT, Lebron, and Kobe wear these. Just for it to completely fail.

Those AF25's were super comfortable. I want to say they had double stacked Zoom (?) but yes, they were heavy and the patent leather creased something terrible in the forefoot.

I will hold out on the BB4 until I see OG colorways.

those af25 were quality, comfy shoes. My dad isn’t a sneaker guy and he bought a pair of black leather af25 for $50cdn. He only wore if a few times then gave it to me though. I still wear them on occasion

Looks like boutiques will be getting these Raptor BB4s as well.

On FB I was watching the last two minutes of the 2001 NBA All Star game. So many great shoes in that game especially the BB4s that Vince and Kidd were rocking.

The Zoom in the forefoot of mine bottomed out, otherwise I would keep wearing them.

I’m hearing that the OG Shox “metallic silver” is coming out 9/20, but don’t quote me on it.

9/20 for the metallic silver BB4. If you see a few sites that sell pre-orders (google BB4s on ebay for example) they list that date as the ship date.
