I had one last year... it died when I left it outside during a rainstorm
They are inexpensive and cool, but you should learn about them before you get one. For instance, I started off trying to feed it like three bugs per day, when actually when it is a small plant it should eat one every 30 days. It takes so much energy to digest even one bug - don't stress it out or your flowers will die.

I had one when I was in 4th grade.. I put a fly on it and watched it close; It was cool... I wanted to see it again so i tried to open it so i could do it again and the flaps broke.Originally Posted by badmoonRison
