I try to activate a phone on my verizon line since my phone broke, so i just bought another beater phone. They let you do this online ( http://www.verizonwireles...ation/activatephone.jsp) WITHOUT any authorization, just theESN number. But when I try it, it says to call verizon support....
I call them to try to activate a new phone on MY line of a family plan, and they tell me I need the account owner(mydad) to speak to them. Mind you, I'm 20 miles away at school, can't really reach my father like that. So i tell the customer service lady that I haveall the information (my dads social, etc) and she still gives me #+$#.
Me: "Look, I have all his information, Including his SSN."
Her: "Well, sorry we still need to speak with him"
Me: "Why? I can just hand up and call back and pretend to be him..."
Her: "No you can't"
Me: "Yes I can, I know there's thousands of you working in cubicles sitting next to each other, and Ill just give the guy 25 rows from you acall"
