Verizon Contract Question

So i'm eligible for an upgrade on my current phone on the 4th of August 2009 and i wanted to get an Iphone and switch to AT&T. Will i be charged withan early termination fee for cancelling my verizon contract on August 4, cause technically the contract ends on December 12 2009 which is exactly two years.Does Verizon charge an early termination fee if i switch on the date of my upgrade or is the only way to not get charged is to wait until December whenit's exactly at the two year mark. Kind of confusing but i wanted to clear this up, i tried calling the verizon store but waited for over 10 minutes andjust hung up. I know verizon prorates there ETF's so i might just take the L and pay whatever it is. Thanks a lot

Yea you will. I want to do the same thing. I called and said that My cancel fee was like $80.
