VICE presents Ground Zero: Syria

VICE commissioned renowned photojournalist and videographer Robert King to embed on the front lines with the Free Syrian Army in Aleppo. War-zone chaos ensued.

Robert returned with footage that has made us very scared and very sad for the future of the country. We've compiled his footage into a series of raw, largely unedited vignettes that present a snapshot of the ancient city as it crumbles and burns while its citizens are killed indiscriminately. Watch them here over the next month and a half, culminating in the release of VICE's Syria Issue in November.

i can already see what this video holds. i saw this other documentary on frontline about the conflict going on in syria. that stuff is depressing. it puts your back in your place why can't we all just get along

Wow....propaganda or not....this is crazy...that one girl had all of her insides on the outside....the camera-man was like what the eff happened....the doctor was like uhhhhh i have no clue....put it back where it belongs.

Oh man i was like what the **** is that. Like things like this makes me appreciate my own life and country so much. But still it's sad to know this is happening. Sometimes i hope i would stupid and oblivious and not know about these things in the world.
