After using AVG forever, Avast! has been by antivirus of choice the past couple years.

Avast is what I use as well.
I've been paying for Mcafee and it's def not even worth it.

Try to start your computer in safe mode with networking, then try getting rid of it

-Restart computer in safe mode.

-Open rkill to kill whatever malware you have

-Do full scan with malwarebytes and let it handle the rest.

Naw, but I just can't open up any other programs. When I restarted in safe mode I'm not connected to the internet so I can't just run the Anti-Virus stuff.

Naw, but I just can't open up any other programs. When I restarted in safe mode I'm not connected to the internet so I can't just run the Anti-Virus stuff.

Dang them pron sites got you... microsoft.com has a pretty good free program. You best bet, reinstalling windows. The only way you know it's completely gone.

Dude do System Restore.

Its like a time machine. It brings your computer back to the way it was depending which date you set it back.

You can find System Restore from Pressing Start. Then All Programs. Then Accessories. Then System Tools. Then youll system restore.

Start> All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.


This fixes most of my problems
