i was about to make the same thread, going there next sunday. i got tons of family out there plus i spend alot of time out there when i was younger so i knowmy way around and know where to go and where not to go, but i need help with good clubs and bars to go to.

i got family in manhattan, the bronx, and queens plus friends in brooklyn so i'm open to go to different places. this is my first time out there sincebeing over 21 so whatever help i can get would be appreciated.

if any niketalkers wanna head out to a club, go to a couple of bars, or go to one of the mets cardinals games next week pm me.

and to whoever helps me out, if you ever come out to los angeles ill return the favor for you.

There has been literally one of these threads every week. Use the goddamn search engine you brittle %%%%.

it's actually fashion week in the district of East New York. If you don't want to feel left out make sure you come out in style. I wear a lot jewelryevery year. Also there's a yodeling contest going on at the Pink Houses. Do make your way there and feel welcomed to yell out obscenities in the wee hoursof the night. Best of wishes during your stay in the world's capital.

true the last one got locked up though i believe. still it's good to get help on places to visit and go to from the locals rather then look upall those tourist spots online.

and although 9 of the 10 responses will be about visiting the pink houses, walking around the bronx at 3am by yourself with a shirt on that says,"i'm a tourist", and to wear your fresh heat in the hood so people can admire your nice shoes, the helpful responses come in handy.

I'm a NYer, I'm not supposed to be helpful

Louis H. Pink Houses.

Convieniently located just off the esteemed Linden Blvd. in Brooklyn, this hidden treasure is a hallmark of the high class, ultra-luxurious NYC night life. Theparty starts late into the night, but tourists are always welcome with world class hospitality. As this is where the high rollers congregate, bringing largeamounts of cash is encouraged, and don't worry about coming alone, you will feel right at home as the natives welcome you with open arms.

5/5 Stars across the boards.
Zagat editors pick.
One of The Travel Channel's "must see places".

Enjoy your time there, and thank me later good sir.

The last thread like this shouldn't have been locked. The Regional forums, obviously, aren't as active as General.

The OP wouldn't have been able to get that many responses in a week had he posted in the NE regional forum.

I don't see any problem with threads like this being posted in General.
