I haven't been to NYC over 5 years...Coming in December. Got an AirBnB in TriBeCa. My homey never been and this will be his first trip outside of New Orleans (Bday). For I used to stay in Jersey City (2 years) and visit NYC often, I've lost touch.

Looking for great nightlife and restaurants. Mid 30's and big fan of Jazz/R&B/Hip Hop.

Any recommendations?

I left NYC 4 weeks good riddance. Overcrowded, over stressed and it stinks.

Check out barcade near nyu. But whatever you **** of NYC ain't nothing there imo, and I'm a real new Yorker.

Hit up the Pink Houses, dope spot not swarmed by tourists yet.

I might be able to help with the restaurants. What’s your budget and what type of cuisine?

Don’t have a budget. I just want the food and ambiance to be dope.

Peter Lugers in BK the best steak in the world... no debating either.

Seriously.

Doubt you'll get a table on such short notice though.

I think Keens is better but PL is great.

I had Keens too and Smith and Walosky and Lugers is still the best to me.

Only bad thing about Luger is they are kind of stuck up and rude but that's because they know they are the sh.. :lol
