Voiceovers?

Always get complemented on my voice, ppl always saying i should go into voice communications/voiceovers/radio work. Never took it serious but as i got older its becoming more and more frequent and now I want to try something and see do i really have what it takes, but dont know where to start. Any suggestions?

Have you tried recording some stuff and uploading it to youtube? From there, it's pretty easy to distribute and send a sample of your work to advertisers and talent agents.

Same here man, I would love to do commercials or something.
I just know that they'll have me doing voiceovers talking jive for rent-a-wheel or some cheap car insurance company. I aint with that.

I've been getting compliments for the same thing. Would love to do voice acting for a cartoon or video game..or even a movie. Just don't know how I'd go about it.

been getting compliments from peeps when i took orders on drive thru or when calling out order numbers, then went back to school(prmaraily film school) and still getting compliments, alot of my teachers have told me to actively pursue it as it is a good source of income. Still don't know how to go about it but im doing my research and will probably record 3 different types of tracks and look at agencies during this week to see whats out there...you never know.

He's being sarcastic, people usually say that about people starting threads without pics. Have you ever seen a voice thread on Niketalk before?
