I honestly think that the iPhone 6 is going to win this battle (2014-2015)...it's a total new redesign, coming with a refreshed OS, will be bigger finally, and just the normal Apple fan craze on top of that. With one device Apple fans unite, with many devices Android fans bicker about which is the best.

1200
was this ever in question. The bigger size has a lot of people considering it, even me. But the L is looking nice and a size I can deal with.

Yeah, like others have said, that screen size even got me thinking about getting an iPhone. I love Android so I won't really ever do it, but that phone looks good and you just can't deny that. Phan boy or not.

I'm thinking about it too. Havent had an iPhone for like 3 years.
I really like iOS 7, but I've only seen it on my girlfriend's iPhone 4 so it lags like a mf. I'd love to see it on a capable phone (with specs like my note 3) cuz I'm sure it rips. Again, I don't think it can touch Android but I gotta say Apple puts out some good stuff, too. They've just been behind the curve the past few years. When they started out, no one could argue that anything was better than an iPhone, and right around the 3GS, tides turned. When the iPhone 4 and 4S came out WITHOUT 4G, Android jumped past Apple big time. This could be the first time in years that Apple is catching back up.

My Note 3 is still going strong except for the battery life. Will probably get another battery soon.

I have an upgrade available but not even pressed to use it at the moment.

Will wait to see what's up with the Note 4...

Mine is good, too. Battery life is eh at this point. I usually go the whole day. I wanna buy a new battery, extra battery charging kit, more cables, etc. but just for one of each I'll be paying $120+ to Samsung for the total cost. Not to mention they don't have all the pieces in stock. I found out from buying a couple crappy cables on eBay that not all charging cords are made the same for these. It's the difference between charging your phone in an hour or charging it in 4 hours.

Talking about unlimited plans .. Today was the start of my cycle and I'm at 3gb. LOL.

Damn, what do you do on your phone? I rarely hit 4GB

looking into buying a note 3 or something. Been on the nexus wave for a few years now, and want to try something new.

Catching up? Lol you do understand apple didn't do the 4g wave because LTE was horrible on battery life for the first two gen of devices and it wasn't even wide spread.

HTC Thunderbolt with LTE :hat :hat

too bad battery life was like 3 hours and was just a ****** phone in general.

Regardless of what you want to blame it on (my 4G argument was just ONE example), Apple used to control the smartphone market by innovation and now Android is the big fish in a little pond. 4G, large screen size, top-end specs have all recently become important factors for Apple because every Android on the market has had them for years. They figured out the 4G battery life issues and made it work (which they could have arguably done earlier). Like I said before, Apple is just playing catch up, instead of being innovators of the market. Things like multitasking, multitouch gestures, pausing music to take phone calls, etc etc etc were all early innovations from Apple and now they're just trying to do what everyone else is doing. That makes them the competition, not the front runner, like they used to be. My point is simply that Apple is not in control of the market like they used to be. So yes, they are playing catch up, by definition.

Hate to say it, but besides pure greed it was extreme data usage by more than a few individuals that caused the larger carriers (AT&T/Verizon) to monetize data by the GB.
lol .. Bs ... Its just greed ... That's why Google has made it their business to offer more speed for cheaper .... Companies with try to nickel and dime you every which way they can. Before data it was text before text it was picture mail before picture mail it was minutes. It has nothing to do with people abusing data it has to do with companies capitalizing on what's now.

That's a great point. Just like the net neutrality decision recently, companies just trying to squeeze every dime out. Meanwhile, in Korea, they're getting speeds people would not think possible in the states.

Yeah but you know how it'll end up.
I don't know, man. I don't get why it's impossible to have a drama-free conversation about a pertinent topic. Even if I don't agree with you, I'll respect you unless you disrespect me. It's really not that hard to keep it objective and not personal, is it?

It has everything thing to do with greed on their part. These companies just stifle innovation and progress so they can squeeze money out of you. Using BS excuses.

I agree, but if you know about the guy you know there's nothing that apple can do wrong. So its pointless a lot of times.

Planned obsolescence has been a thing for years with hardware... They're obviously just doing the same thing with software in all realms.

Today: 10 GB FOR JUST $100/MONTH!!!!!
Tomorrow: 20 GB FOR JUST $99/MONTH!!!!
Next Day: 50 GB FOR JUST $98/MONTH!!!!

When all along they could have given you 100 GB for a dollar a month.

I don't know anything about the people in here. I just assume we are all adults and can look at strengths and weaknesses objectively, regardless of alliance. Maybe I'm the ******* for assuming that...?
