does cm still have the app in android market where u just press update and it automatically flashes the newest rom...it would let you know when a update was ready

I edited Widget Locker app using Apk Manager. It's pretty simple, just swap out the iPhone lockscreen pictures with new ones and resign the .apk and that's it. There is some .png editing require, so ull need Photoshop handy.
