WAL MART RETURNS ... HELP...

here's the situation...

i copped a tv on black friday... yes.... three months ago...

i got into some trouble and i need the cake bad....

i heard of people returning stuff and getting it on a gift card...

but i called my local one and they said they couldnt do it because i told them the tv was working just fine...

sooooooo..

how do i get walmart to take this tv back? aint nothin wrong w/ it... same box... all the materials...

no signs of any kind of usage....

i was tryin to get the gift card... then sell it on ebay... that way... i get cash money in my hand....

i just dont know what to say to get these folks to take it back....

i have the receipt... but its old as hell... and i already returned one of the tvs i bought on it...

so how do i approach them to get them to refund the money on a gift card?

I assume you paid with a credit card?

I doubt they'll do this since you bought the tv so long ago.

i bought w/ cash money... i still got the receipt...

but i wanna get that gift card...

partly cuz the receipt is old and they'll know when i bought it...

partly cuz i payed $250 for it and it costs $330 now....

we do it all the time at my store (Footaction)

i just need to know how to attack...

Even if you do get a giftcard for 330 .

Most pple who would consider buying it would want a discounted price. Mainly since a person is offering a GC instead of the store

So i doubt it's worth the 80$ potential profit and headaches

but check me out... I JUST NEED THE CASH...

i'm not really too concerned about the profit...

and i have an eerie feeling that if i just post the tv on ebay...

its gonna sell for $200...  i dont want that too happen....

if i can sell a $330 gift card for $275, then i swear that i will take that as a win....

go check and see how much a $500 gift card sells for on ebay..

but the key is to say that the tv DOESNT work like its supposed to?...

With the fees on paypal and ebay, you don't want to sell on there. Trust me.

its a 32 inch 720p... that's like... 1080p's lil fat cousin...

Yo I worked at a walmart, they will give u cash back if u paid in cash or debit. If u don't have a receipt, that's when u get a giftcard. U don't have to tellem the tv still works, they'll just put a defective tag on it. Either way you will get ur money back.
