Man listen, I know we **** on Walmart but you can't beat their prices. I just left Publix and the cereal I buy was $1.50 more there than Walmart. I'm not buying everything at Walmart but for certain ****, they come thru. Shoutout dem

Walmarts near me have decided to start early using brown paper bags instead of plastic, which are apparently being banned next year. The bags suck. They tear super easy.

Also, Walmart is the ONLY place that since they started charging 0.10 for bags, that frequently run out. So you have a basket full of groceries, and no bags when you check out.

I tried to change to target, but target doesn’t always have the items/portions that I want/need for my household… so I’m kinda stuck with Walmart.

The 2 closest walmarts by me have the worst parking lots. One shares a lot near home depot and the other is in a plaza next to a costco and a ton of restaurants. It’s a nightmare trying to leave those parking lots.

I have a Walmart less than 2 miles from me. When I first moved to this neighborhood I avoided it. I would go out of my way to go to Target or Publix.

But that didn't last long. The thing about Walmart is that you have to KNOW your Walmart. What time of day to go.. what time of month to go.. what side of the lot to park.. which cashiers are the good/fast ones. It takes some time, trial and error but once you get familiar with your Walmart, it's not so bad. I'm there 2-3 times a week, no joke. It's on my way to and from the gym so I'm always popping in.

The only thing I don't mess with is their bakery/deli. For that stuff I go to Publix.

I have a Wal Mart about 3 minutes away from me an I'm only going in there for 1-3 item pick ups. In and out.

They do actually have nice quality tees tho.

Once they start pushing the reuseable bags it will get out of hand. You will end up with 50 reusable bags that you always forget at home so therefore keep buying more lol.

def appreciated.

I just bought a MEGA size captain crunch for $6.

a regular size one is usually that price at my local grocery store

im out here in the Houston suburbs now and the Walmart is way nicer than the one I grew up next to in Arizona. First time in my life I don’t mind going to Walmart

How many do you have in yours? I’m in the burbs of Houston as well, and I have 4 Walmarts in my city limits alone.

I only go to one specific location to pick up printed pictures for family members. I can appreciate their prices on that and that alone. Other than that one thing, I avoid them like the plague. Give me Kroger, give me H-E-B, and give me the boycotted Target all day.

within city limts it looks like 3, but there are like 6 within a 10 mile drive from me 😂. And I’m the same, I’d rather go to HEB or Kroger

Gotta start bringing your own bags like a Soccer mom fam.

You won't go back to plastic or paper after that, no joke.

My pops used to drag me to Walmart, hell on earth. Swore when I was grown I would never go again. Aint been back since.

Walmart+ is amazing. As good as Amazon with a comparable product selection. I can get groceries, home goods, electronics etc. delivered same day or next day with no shipping fees. It’s saved me on several occasions. Personally I only grocery shop at Sam’s (possibly switching to Costco after the years up) and I’m satisfied. Anything I would usually get at Kroger or Publix makes more sense at a bulk store. I got 3-4 months worth of washing machine pods for 25 bucks, the same haul would cost me $75 easily from a regular store same thing with frozen stuff for the family.

I was just there because they got deals on toilet paper and baby wipes.

I tried their knock off version of a Snickers bar for 94 cents....... it SUCKED
