Goodfellas is the GOAT Scorsese film

Raging Bull is the best De Niro & Pesci

Taxi Driver is the best De Niro directed by Scorsese

Casino is fantastic still. A step below Goodfellas...I've always loved the look of Casino. The lighting, the cinematography, all the colors. It gets better every time, but most Scorsese films do.

casino gets watched at least once a month.... its ALWAYS on.

better than goodfellas, godfather and scarface... imo.
 
Love this flick. Rewatched it last week and it just got better.

Sam bugged out marrying Ginger but Nicky was worse because he hit that. AND lied to the bosses....

SMH...all these mob flicks all have a theme of an empire crumbling over a chick or something a chick's done.
 
very good movie indeed. I was first scared since it is extremely long, but time flew by very quickly.

Lol seriously. Flicks like Casino and Goodfellas fall under that "required viewing" in life. So pop in Goodfellas asap!
 
Great movie.

I don't know which is better between goodfellas and casino because they seem like an extension of each other.

Both are very dope tho.

You add Liotta in there and you have probably the best mobster movie imo(Goodfellas). The fact that the movie was real made it so much more intense.

i cannot stand the corn field scene.. to this day.. 
not for the brutality.. but the sheer emotional pain on Pecsi's face is unbearable to me.

Its definitely better than Scarface IMO, the middle part of Scarface got pretty boring quick. Definitely iconic moments in Scarface and that movie has a larger cult following. Nothing is touching Godfather I and II though in this genre.

What makes this movie better than scarface is that this was real!! 
 
^^While Scarface is a good flick it just can't compare to Casino or Goodfellas, I prefer Casino more though for its story and it seems to stay with me more. That scene with Pesci and his brother at the end was so hard to watch the first few times.

The part with Nicky and Frank talking outside the shop with their hands over their mouths is hilarious. When some random old man waiting for the bus, Nicky looks over at the guy and says, "Who's this guy?" mad paranoid. I always got a kick out of that.
