Yea somebody cyberattacked our whole system and held it for randsom. So we litterally haven't done anything for like 2 weeks...while our system is being rebuilt. 12 hour days with nothing but NT, YT, Netflix and sling. This **** is brutal esp yesterday and today.

I know the feeling back in May our Exchange server died Monday morning, didn't get home until Wednesday night. I had to rebuild the Exchange server and then attach the previous EDB file because we used Checkpoints in HyperV.

What do you do? I been there use to do Network Monitoring YEARS ago working 3/4 12's. Slept for like 2/3 hours wake up watch some movies on the external drive, eat lunch, do a quick push up situp routine, watch some more movies. Hit up the gamefaqs for new info on KOTOR, then head home. My routine for 12 hours.

DAMN like looking in the mirror, my first name is Jermaine. Friendly advice continue down the easy cert patch, get Security+, Network+. If you want to get into the networking side I will defer to
youngthundercat
on steps on that. If you want to get into systems then after Net+ see if you can get experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) they pay well and are track to really take a large part of the virtualizing market. VMware is nice but not easy to get foot in the door, what state you live in? Might be time for a move.
