I just wanted to know if I was the only one who really didn't see it, and I was going to make the same point that Haze mentioned that it's ironic thatElectronica said that because he's the most East Coast sounding southern dude I've ever heard.

Anyways...

If an NY artist does a song with a southern artist and uses some of their slang ON THAT SONG ONLY...I don't really consider that to be jacking.

If they use it in a playful way like when that devil worshiper said "I spit that down south Master P, bout it bout it shhhhh" that's not reallyjacking either. *and no I don't really believe that nonsense either

I don't think it was just cuz Southern rappers rose to fame. I think it was some NY rappers were vocal cuz they felt southern rappers rose tofame with trash music but I guess that's a regional thing to an extent cuz some joints just don't sound good to dudes in other regions.

I agree with what you said about Jay E and that's something that makes it even funnier. If NYC artists wanted to play who jacked what from who there'dbe just as much shh going to certain southern artists.

So why does the South call NY lame? And then do our music?
