Weight Loss Workout Plan?

Since graduating from high school I've put on at least 20-30 pounds

and I wanna get into the gym and start to get back to my old form. Do you guys have any tips on what kinds of workouts I should be doing and how I should groupthem? Also I know basic nutritional tips but please help me out if you have some good tips in that department as well.
 
get yourself some hydoxycut green tea...you take 2 pills 30-60 minutes before 2 meals

eat differently (the most difficult part) lots of baked and grilled chicken and fish

exercise, I ball like 2-3 times a week and lift weights on the other days...I'm getting ready to add swimming

I've lost 10 pounds in the past 3 weeks...I'm trying to get to 195 by end of September (224 according to weigh in this morning)

Eat 1500-2000 calories a day, mix it up, stay low carbs, weight-lift 3-4 times a day and do a little exercise like some basketball and you will lose that in 2months if you stick to it.

Swimming doesn't really help with weight loss FYI.


Running bores me.
Any alternatives?

ride a bike play football play basketball any sport just stay active don't drink soda AT ALL. and i suggest listening to ipod while running if youaren't cause w/o a ipod running is the boring thing ever.
 
How does eating the same thing for dinner each day like grilled chicken and wild rice affect your diet/weight loss?

It does help with fat loss though.
 
the main thing is your diet real talk

+ some Cardio

but the cardio won't mean anything unless you change your diet up


and it's common to gain the lbs after you graduate HS, you got that 'Freshman 15'

I lost 150 pounds. Just lift weights, don't run ... do intervals. Try P90X, that works real well. Hit me up if you need help with nutrition
