or just run malwarebytes, then if you are using IE(i am assuming) goto tools, internet options, connections, then LAN settings, and select auto detect, there is a chance that could have been changed.

Delete the browser that you are using and then re-download using internet explorer. Also Microsoft Essentials or Malwarebytes are your best bet for free anti-virus.
