If you stick with the movies he's been in yeah he's 100% right but here's the thing, that's always been Chris Evans movie career. He's not a movie star. He got the looks, some charisma and some of the acting chops but it never materializes into hits in original movies or even in other franchises. He's not that good of a character actor.

It's the same for a good deal of other actors who have left as well. Look at Chris Pratt struggling.


Exactly. Hemsworth another one of them. Outside of Extraction I don't think he has any other hits and that was a modest hit.

Was Crime 101 received well?

A lot of these guys just don't motivate ppl to see them in theaters like that. Arguably some of the women are better at that.

Crime 101 was alright. Pretty straightforward plot. I thought it was one of Hemsworth's better films outside of the MCU.

And it was obvious Ruffalo was filming Task at the same time lolol. Looked like the same exact character.

We need to see Holland Spidey go through HS, College and part of his adult life.

Nolan usually reuses his actors in subsequent movies but honestly Holland was one of the weakest performances in The Odyssey

i think Nolan likes him enough that he’ll get a part in his films moving forward he did give him the second biggest part in odyssey

and you dont really need to be Leo or Chalamet level to work with the likes of Scorsese or Spielberg, he doesnt have to be the lead on those films either, batman acted circles around him in odyssey but dude has a big enough name especially after how huge odyssey is, he’ll get his chance with those big name directors instead of doing video game adaptations

and once you are in with those directors, you can get a part in their films here and there

just the way he has been talking about nolan and how he tried to imitate how nolan shot his film and bring it to BND tells me dude actually liked a more serious filmmaking and want to go that route

I just don't think I'll see Holland as the lead in a Nolan film but I'll be happy to be wrong and if it's not that like I said supporting roles. Plus it's not like Nolan manages to get every actor he likes to work with into every movie he does.

You don't need a Leo level of fame but you need that level of talent or at least signs of that potential. I can't say Holland has that. Timothee has that level of talent. So does Andrew Garfield.

That's especially the case with Scorsese. Spielberg might take more risks with a cast but the talent is still solid.

And again I'm focusing on being the lead first.

If Tom is just getting supporting roles in these movies I don't see why he'd stop doing MCU movies then. All the other MCU actors manage to do that anyway.

To me, he basically needs to get another franchise if he's stepping away. He already failed with Uncharted so he'd have to try again with something else.

2 great actors and the Rock has changed his career path purposely.

The difference between Tom and the Rock is he has the money to do that. He owns his own studio.

Tom quitting being Spidey is what I expect. I just don't see a career of working with big name directors or being in Nolan movies. That sounds more like Zendaya.

Facts. Gimme Secret Wars with the Symbiote and then one last one with him passing the torch to Miles. Then we can transition the Spidey-verse to him seamlessly, like they pivoted Rocky to Creed.

And then Tom can just be a Chris Nolan regular and drop movies every 4-5 years.
