I mean Evan’s wasn’t really a recast. Sure he played Human Torch in DP and Wolverine but that was more of an homage to that role than it was him being Human Torch in the MCU.

I know this. All different universes but just saying in general. People were making a big deal about him play Cap back in 2009/10 whenever his movie and Avengers was announced, but he clearly erased that image the moment people watched "The First Avenger."
I remember him more from Not Another Teen Movie than I do for Fantastic Four lol.

iirc the complaint was more that he was comedic actor and he wouldn’t be taken seriously as Cap. Not so much that he was Johnny Storm.

This. People didn’t see him as serious enough to play Cap since most of his roles that garners attention were the ones with that comedic heartthrob aesthetic, yet he became Steve Rogers. That future recast is gonna be a doozy

Rewatched the last episode and my thoughts are as follows.
1. Prof Biscuits is a sellout and a clown. He had more smoke for our guy En Sabah Nur (a fellow mutant) than he ever had for FOH and da US government. What a disgrace.
2. Did anyone else do da nation of domination power salute when En Sabah Nur cooked Prof Biscuits verbally and called him a cripple?
3. Magnus was moving like Malcolm X after he left da nation and in many respects he became what people think Prof biscuits is.
4. Beast’s relationship with ship is still da most disgusting thing about this show. I remember as a kid watching da OG series wondering why he legit wanted to have a relationship with 0s and 1s.
5. Tons of respect for Kang and what he was trying to do. Wish he succeeded but then we wouldn’t gotten all da bars from En Sabah.
All in all I will be rooting for En Sabah for the rest of da season.

I was very skeptical of him originally too, but remember seeing him in The Losers helped put my mind at ease that he could pull it off.
