Went to the MALL OF LA in Baton Rouge today Bought BLACK/CEMENT 3's

Flew into New Orleans.. Flight layover.. (8 hours!) grabbed a rental and drove to the closest big mall, 45 min drive to the MALL OF LA and behold a HOH!!! Check them out.. they had the usual..  i asked about the foams (duncans) they said theyll prolly sit... then i went to the Footaction and people where buying the Black/Cement 3's .... I was like huh???? Dont these release next Friday? dude said "you must not be from round here" i said  "no" ... then he just said they release everything for a little "extra" so i gave dude $190 out the door.. he handed me a bag with my size.. said he couldnt give me a reciept...  SO if you need a size hit up the MALL OF LA footaction in Baton Rouge.. well thats if your in LA, or flying through New Orleans... The guy who helped me looked goofy and older.. said he was the store manager.. Said they had Tons of them.

Na, I think dude said they dont get in trouble for it, like they didnt give me a reciept so they dont ring them on the register till release day? i think itll be ok if they do that... i just want Niketalkers in the area to be able to get the shoe without waiting!

I prefer going to Cortana Mall since they don't get nearly the amount of foot traffic as Mall of Louisiana. I picked up at a mom and pop store in the burbs in New Orleans last week, wouldn't have been any trouble on release date, but I'm on an anti-retail on BF kick this year and don't want to go ANYWHERE shopping on that day.

It might be okay with the store, but FTA is gonna have a problem with that. That's "technically" stealing. Edit that post before ppl lose their jobs.

I remember copping the OG black Foam Pros about a week early at Footlocker in Cortana Mall back in '98. They didn't seem too concerned. I guess Baton Rouge sneaker store managers just don't care, lol.

I got my pair this weekend from a small ma and pa store I used to work at. They don't get many Jordan releases but I put the bug in the owners ear about a few releases so hopefully he'll come thru.
