My Reasons:
1. Wasn't interested.
2. People were telling me I'd regret not going, which incited me to rebel.
3. It was $100 for a title one school prom.
4. I was scared to talk to the girl I would've taken if I had to go.
5. None of this stuff was like the movies

did the same thing for homecoming senior year except we went to see whatever Texas Chainsaw was out at the time

Went with no date bc I dumped the girl I was with a month or so before prom. Stayed for about an hour then hit the after party circuit. Got a nice lil buzz but didn't get laid.

Friends and I rented a bus, was at prom for maybe an hour or two tops. Then we left and rented a beach house for the weekend.

Went to prom and like 50% of the attendees (around 200 people) had rooms rented at a hotel nearby. Most of the rooms weren’t on the same floor so people were spread out everywhere.

You had people in different rooms smoking weed and playing video games, others drinking, sex rooms and all that. **** was wild. I room hopped until like 3 am (hit up the smokers, drinkers, popped in the rooms where people were having orgies and **** but didn’t participate) and then went back to my room with my date.

I went to my junior prom and didn't go to my senior prom. Instead of going to prom, I went to go see v for vendetta in theaters (it came out the same day as my prom), pre-gamed with some friends and then went straight to the after-party.

Didn’t go. My girlfriend was in college when I was a senior, so she wasn’t about that prom life.

Ripped bongs at my friend’s house with a small crew and played Goldeneye 64 multiplayer all night. Turned out to be an important night because that group of kids ended up becoming the circle of friends I hang out with now.

Zero regrets.
