Tim . Met him when I was thirteen
He gets pissed when I do
One of the ways I get even.

nothin, i just start talking. if i'm looking at you and speaking in your direction, we don't need titles.
Obviously he is referring to situations that would cause you to use a title.

You two in same building, someone on the phone wants to talk to him, you need to get his attention but he is in another room. What do you say?

Dad for me

Damn
Tons of Spanish speakers in here.

I feel here you coming feel where you r coming from but at the same time, I feel your friends too.

It felt weird wheniI was around 15 saying daddy.

So now, I just say "pop doc"... don't know why...

My older brothers, 30 and 36, still call
Him daddy.

I'm black and me and the rest of my black friends say " daddy". But when referring to him in public I say "dad"

I call son by his first name. He hated it at first but he embraced it after 24 years
see... i never felt comfortable w/ that...

my mombs and pops told me its cool... but i was like... "nah..."

my homeboy has been doing it to his parents since we were little...

When I do speak to him every 5-8 years I call him by his first name. You ain't worthy of being called dad if you weren't there in my life.
