That as you come into adulthood you will be stifled by things like responsibility, stress. You'll most likely follow the path of going to grade school, then college, graduate then have to pay the loans back. Then work a 9 to 5 till your 60s/70s then die. Some argue that following that system stunts or puts a pause on things like imagination, creativity, and freedom.

I think the sign is the trap in itself. It's saying don't show progression. To me "growing up" means to show advancement or development. So if they message is 'growing up is a trap' then they're tell you to remain dormant no matter what your situation is.
