what IS a du-rag

ok so me and somebody are having an argument, i'm sayin that a du-rag is, ya know the silk thing that you can find in dollar stores called DU-RAGS, andthats it. while other dude is saying that it's basically any rag, bandana, stocking cap, wave cap, whatever. he says they're all du-rags. who'sright? if i'm wrong it's straight just trying to solve an argument here.

You are right.

However, there are 2 types of durags.

1. Regular tie down kind with cape.
2. No-tie style durag. Not to be confused with a wavecap. The durag without the tie is thicker than a wavecap and not spandex.
